Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using our web applications and mobile configuration tools associated with Sony Premium Audio devices, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree strictly with any of these terms—including binding arbitration clauses and hardware return restrictions detailed within—you should abstain from using this website or engaging with our commerce portals immediately. These terms supersede any prior agreements or implied conditions communicated by third parties.
2. Description of Audiological Services
Sony provides software features such as Adaptive Sound Control, 360 Reality Audio configuration, and Multi-Point Connection setups. We intend that such features run exclusively on natively supported Sony audio devices. Modifying the software layer, running unauthorized third-party equalizers, or jailbreaking the hardware firmware will immediately result in a permanent void of your manufacturer's warranty.
Furthermore, pre-orders and reservations made via our web portals do not represent a legally binding offer to sell a product at a stated price until an official tracking confirmation is generated.
3. Use of Licensing & Proprietary Technology
All components—ranging from our dual-sensor noise-cancellation microchips, high-compliance diaphragms, LDAC streaming protocols, and UI interfaces presented on this website—remain the sole intellectual property of Sony Group Corporation. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license strictly to configure and control your hardware, but under no circumstance reverse engineer the firmware.
4. Limitation of Liability and Hearing Protection
You understand that prolonged listening to premium audio equipment at elevated volumes can cause permanent hearing damage. Sony shall not be held liable for any acoustic trauma, tinnitus, or auditory injury resulting from the use or misuse of our high-resolution audio products. By purchasing the headphones, you assume complete responsibility for your personal listening habits and the safety of your acoustic environment.
5. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms of Service or our products shall be restricted to binding arbitration located in London, United Kingdom, or Tokyo, Japan, depending on your region of purchase. Class action lawsuits are expressly waived by agreeing to these Terms of Service upon point of purchase.
